Paul Lack
Paul Lack :: Drums & Percussion
Playing drums for 22 years, Paul Lack says that being a drummer "is just part of who (he is)." He learned from his father, a professional musician, and many private teachers. Lack balanced a busy course load and practice time as a double major at Whitworth University studying Jazz and Percussion Performance. His hard work and dedication paid off; Lack is currently a sought after private drum instructor and instructs/composes for Clovis West High School. Prior to moving to Fresno, Lack worked in the Worship & Performing Arts department for Life Center Church in his hometown of Spokane, Washington where he also served on the worship team as a drummer.
Obtaining a Masters Degree and Doctorate Degree in music and touring as a professional drummer are some of Lack's future aspirations as a musician. Lack owns his "dreamkit;" a seven-piece Yamaha Birch Custom Absolute in black sparkle sunburst finish.
Lack was a four-year member of award winning Whitworth Jazz Band and can be heard on their album, "Apple Flambé." You can hear Lack (and his Yamaha "dreamkit") on The Well Worship's second studio project, "God of Love," scheduled to be released May 7th, 2010.
